FAQ's
30 Deep Sportfishing will do absolutely everything possible to guarantee that you have a memorable and successful catching experience. We don't fish closer to the inlet just to save fuel! We won't leave our old fishing line on a reel until it is worn out and can cost our customers lost fish. We pledge to keep our charter rates at the very best possible price. We will spend whatever amount is necessary on our bait, gear and tackle in order to have the best rigged boat possible. We don't accept unsafe charters due to weather or any other conditions beyond our control. We always want to provide you with directions as well as let you know exactly what to expect when you arrive. We promise to let you know exactly what to expect when you arrive. We promise that we will do everything possible under our control to make your personal offshore fishing trip our best fishing trip of the season!

12hr Charter trip: $3000 (Rates are subject to change)
8hr Inshore Trip: $2500 (Rates are subject to change)
Overnight Fishing Charters: $4500 (Rates are subject to change)

Drop us a line or give us a call about Specialty trips we offer at 30 Deep Sportfishing. The trips available are family fun day cruises, sunset cruises or memorial gatherings.
$450 Deposit is required to secure your charter date. Deposits can be paid via PayPal (Please add 3% if using PayPal) personal or business check, or cash. If paying by check, please send check to: 30 Deep Sportfishing 13053 Old Stage Rd. Bishopville MD 21813.
**A fuel surcharge will apply to all trips if diesel fuel is $4 per gallon or higher on the day of your charter at the Ocean City Fishing Center fuel pumps.
If paying deposit by check, give us a call to add your reserved date to the calendar. We will send you conformation of your reserved date once check is received and cleared.
The remaining balance must be paid in CASH the day of your charter trip. If paying the remaining charter fee balance via PayPal (Please add 3% if using PayPal), payment must be made and received 48 hours prior to your trip. Please contact us if using PayPal for remaining payment so we can verify 48 hours prior and send payment conformation.
MATE works for tips: All mates working on 30 Deep Sportfishing are professional and experienced. Your mate for the day will be working very hard prior to, during and well after your day offshore fishing. Customary tip for the mate is 20%.
Fish cleaning for your catch is available at the marina provided by the Ocean City Fishing Center. Rates are posted at the cleaning station and are NOT included within the charter rate.

Preparing for your fishing charter
30 Deep Sportfishing will provide you with the ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE in Inshore Fishing and or Offshore fishing as requested...!!!! As you request your fishing experience this is what we will provide, and what you MAY want to bring on your expedition while reeling in your BIG fish.
We provide:
- Rods, reels, bait, ice and any other fishing devices needed
- All required permits and licenses for all anglers
- Ultimate experience and a great time for all
What to bring for your charter: (NO BANANAS ALLOWED)
- Sunscreen (30spf+) if you want
- Sunglasses
- Hats / face protection
- Raingear (If it looks like possible weather will hinder the trip)
- Motion sickness medication (if required) Most anglers if needed prefer the “PATCH”
- Camera or cell phone for pictures
- Any food you would like, there is a refrigerator on the boat for sandwiches/subs
- Beverages; Alcohol is allowed, NO hard liquor or bottles.
- Cooler for your catch (Leave in your vehicle for when we return to transport your catch home)
- When we return, we utilize the fish cleaning station after your excursion, so additional cost (.30-.60 per lb. dependent on fish type) will be needed for your catch to be prepared for you to take home
